Lecture at FADU

Thursday night, we gave a lecture about sustainability in materials and design at the (public) University of Buenos Aires. Our most exciting lecture so far with some hundred curious students and realtime English-Spanish translation support from our hosts Mariana and Anabella.

The Faculty for Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU) houses some 10,000 students during night and day. The building features some nice graffiti works and seems to come from outer space.

PS Later that night we learned that the building is an architectural copy from Canada (including special windows for heavy snow – note: it almost never snowed in Buenos Aires).
